The Pre-Suit Attorney Personal Injury will be responsible for managing a full caseload of personal injury cases, from initial client contact to negotiating settlements. They will collaborate with the legal team, oversee a full-time legal assistant, and maintain regular client communication. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for clients. Duties:Gather necessary documents, evidence, and information for claimsAssist in preparing demand letters and negotiating settlementsManage and negotiate cases with insurance providersEffectively handle a full caseloadSupervise and manage a dedicated full-time legal assistantPrioritize regular client communicationOpen new files and maintain ongoing client contactThoroughly investigate each case, analyzing intake information and relevant documentsEnter pertinent information into the databaseVerify insurance coverage and liability issues, maintaining contact with insurance companiesManage clients' medical care, maintaining communication with clients and medical providersSchedule and calendar medical appointments, explaining procedures and documentation to clientsContinuously monitor case status and review medical recordsOrganize and maintain case files, preparing files for submission to demand writersMaintain active membership in the Florida Bar Association Requirements:2+ years of experience managing a heavy personal injury caseloadActive membership in the Florida Bar Association in good standing Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Admission to the Florida Bar Association (active and in good standing) Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to interact empathetically with clientsDetermination and drive to achieve optimal results for clientsSolid problem-solving skills and attention to detailBilingual proficiency is advantageous Benefits Offered:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurancePaid time off401kEmployer-paid short-term disability and basic life insurance
