Gps Tech - Surveyor

Description:
We’re seeking a GPS Tech with excellent time management and communication skills to join our busy team! You will perform detailed and accurate cross-sectional surveys as part of the post-construction process. The successful applicant will have 2 years of GPS experience. There will be no per diem provided, so local candidates are preferred. This is a highly technical, IT position. Responsibilities: • Create digital maps and reports using GIS (geographic information systems) technology• Evaluate the site to collect information and precise measurements on hydrographic, geographic, and topographic features• Advise clients, architects, and construction managers of any on-site conditions, building defects, or potential environmental impacts within boundary lines• Operate surveying instruments such as builder’s levels, total stations, robotics, and GPS (global positioning systems) to measure distances accurately Qualifications: • Exceptional time management, problem-solving, and communication skills• Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record• Current understanding of trigonometry, surveying fundamentals, mapmaking, and the techniques, guides, and practice of surveying Compensation: $30 hourly About Company: Joe Knows delivers added value by providing experienced employees in multiple industries, who possess communication and leadership skills that support the goals of the team.
