ABOUT YMCA OF BUCKS AND HUNTERDON COUNTIES YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties is a charitable, nonprofit organization committed to strengthening our communities through membership and programs that foster youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility for all . Assistant Teacher Salary : $15.50 - 17.00 per hour Assistant Teacher Hours : 1:00pm to 5:00pm (3 days per week) AND Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00am-11:30am Assistant Teacher Responsibilities : Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program Leading age appropriate activities Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children Assistant Teacher Qualifications : Have 2+ years of experience working with children - this can be professional, volunteer, or familial (babysitting, etc) High school graduate.
