As a Hardware Engineer, you design and build the systems that are the heart of the world's largest and most powerful computing infrastructure. You develop from the lowest levels of circuit design to large system design and see those systems all the way through to high volume manufacturing. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.2 years of experience working in a camera-focused technical environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Experience developing image processing or computer vision algorithms. Experience with imaging system design or camera module design, development, module integration processes, or factory test and calibration. Experience developing calibration solutions (e.g., hardware, software, integration) for imaging systems. Knowledge of statistics and mechanical, hardware, or software problem solving. Responsibilities Develop calibration algorithms. Innovate improvements in hardware and factory processes. Debug and report on factory calibration issues. Build evaluation and reporting systems.
