University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus Department: Surgery | Division of Vascular Surgery Job Title: Visiting Researcher Position # 00784400 - Requisition #33495 Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in supporting the advancement of research within the Division of Vascular Surgery. The Visiting Researcher will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of various research initiatives within our portfolio. There will be no direct patient care or contact. Key Responsibilities: Engage in thorough publication review, contributing insights and expertise to enhance the quality of research literature. Create peer-reviewed publications that showcase our division's research and findings. Conduct comprehensive review and analysis of clinical databases and patient electronic health records (EHR). Assist in the execution of clinical trials, supporting various aspects of trial management to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Contribute to the development and refinement of research protocols. Work Location: Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado. MD is required Documented original research publications in peer-reviewed journals, including publications where the applicant is listed as first and/or last author. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Strata and/or Redcap Statistics experience Prior research experience related to vascular surgery Training in vascular surgical procedures Demonstrated skills in problem-solving and working collaboratively and effectively with other members of a research team Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Exceptional problem-solving proficiency Exemplary planning and organizational expertise Computer proficiency Outstanding communication and collaborative aptitude Thorough grasp of scientific concepts How to Apply: For full consideration, please submit the following document(s): 1.
